When it is dry, scrape off the powdered substance thus obtained, and sprinkle a small amount of it into a cup of tea or water and drink it. It has a terribly bitter taste which tends to linger on for a long time after its intake. However, its actions will bring a lot of relief within few hours. If required, you may have to repeat it one more time. This powdered substance can be stored in a medicine bottle and kept in a cool, dark place for future use. Thus you can yield aloe vera juice benefits anytime you want.


Method #2: You can also use liquid form of aloe vera juice for constipation. If it is a chronic case of constipation, then you can simply wash a fresh leaf of aloe vera, scrape out its thick skin and eat two tablespoons of gel from it. If you cannot tolerate the taste of concentrated aloe vera juice, then mix it up into a glass of fruit juice and swallow it up quickly. Thus your colon will get cleansed up and all harmful toxins will get excreted from the body.


Method #3: Those of you who find the bitterness of fresh aloe vera juice intolerable, can take aloe vera pills for constipation. These are dried aloe latex found in the form of capsules and are available in local health food stores. These pills helps in softening stools and bring about improvement in the bowel movement. The dosage should be in between 40 mg and 200 mg, depending on the severity of the symptoms. It should be taken only once a day for 10 days. After that, it should be stopped or else your body may get dependent on the laxative. It should be accompanied by a fiber rich diet and lots of fluid intake.


If you are planning to take aloe vera for constipation, you must consult your doctor once. This is because aloe vera is not suitable for everyone who is having a constipation problem.
